Our goal is simple: create conservative, repeatable, and transparent estimates that are useful to journalists, industry pros, and football fans alike.

Editorial standards
Accuracy and transparency are at our core. We:
- Prefer primary sources (club statements, filings, reliable press) and triangulate with reputable sports finance outlets.
- Bias toward conservative (low-end) estimates when ranges are reported.
- Clearly label speculative or unverified figures and update entries when new evidence emerges.
What we include (short)
Our published earnings aim to reflect the player's realized income in the calendar year — including guaranteed wages, signing and performance bonuses realized in-period, verified endorsements, image-rights payouts, and founder/dividend events attributable to the player.
What we exclude
We do not count club-to-club transfer fees as player income, unrealized valuation uplifts, or unverified claims. We note these exclusions in our methodology and on individual player pages where relevant.
